Welcome to Fazlakat - Rima Jeans, where every stitch tells a story of resilience, heritage, and creative passion. We are a Syrian artisan brand founded in 2018 by Rima Ma'ruf, a dedicated artist from the coastal city of Tartous.
The name 'Fazlakat' – derived from the Arabic words for art (فن) and weaving (حيك) – embodies our mission: to transform fabric into art. 'Rima Jeans' honors our founder and her innovative specialty: giving new life to denim through beautiful, upcycled creations.
Driven by a profound love for Syrian craftsmanship, Rima transitioned from her background in commerce and economics to pursue her true calling. From her workshop in Tartous, she now leads this passionate venture, dedicating herself entirely to preserving and modernizing traditional Syrian handicrafts.
